Loch Goil is a sea loch forming part of the Cowal Peninsula. It is situated in the county of Argyll and branches off from Loch Long. The loch is famed for its fishing and many fishing records have been set on the water and from the shore.
At the top of the loch is the village of Lochgoilhead and can be accessed from the top of the Rest and Be Thankful. A wonderful village with hotels, bed and breakfasts and natural beauty there are many outdoor activities to enjoy if you visit this charming loch.
