Killin Stone Circle is a neolithic monument situated juts outside the village of Killin and thought to have been constructed between four and five thousand years ago. It is situated in a pasture field immediately southwest of Kinnell House. The stone circle is one of the more westerly examples of a large number of stone circles to be found in central Scotland. The stone circle would have been used as a place of worship or governance with the northern most stone decorated with three cup marks. A day out to visit this ancient monument can be accompanied with lunch in the village of Killin or a walk in beautiful surrounding countryside.
